One of the greatest characters in baseball during his carrer, Norm Cash is well remembered for his many acticts in Baseball. One time, when facing Nolan Ryan he was in the on deck circle with a table leg, upire Ron Lucianno told Cash that he could not use that in the game and Cash said "why not, I am not going to hit him anyway" Cash preceded to use a regular bat, struck out on 3 pitches and said to Luciano "See, told you I wasn't going to hit anything." Cash was born in Justiceberg, Texas on Nov 10th 1934. He attended San Angelo Junior College and played both Baseball and Football. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears as a Running Back, but opted on Baseball instead. Cash started his professional Carrer with the White Sox, then was traded to the Indians. In one of the most lopsided trades in the history of Baseball, Cash was traded by the Indians to the Detroit Tigers for Steve Demeter - who would go on to play a total of 4 more games his entire carrer.
